Other than keeping the hair clear of dandruff, aloe vera gel is used to help in promoting hair growth as well as preventing hair loss.

It is no wonder that a lot of people, being impressed with the innumerable aloe vera plant uses, have decided to grow the plant in their own backyard. Needing little care and attention, these hardy and tough plants can be used as quick home remedies for treating conditions, which may not need immediate medical intervention, like coughs, colds, small burns or minor scathing.

Currently the aloe vera plants have attracted the attention of the medical and scientific world, which are engaged in the research of its efficacy in conditions like diabetes, cancer and even AIDS. Personally I do not believe it can heal such extreme diseases but let’s wait for their results!
